Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will have an assisted transfer to Gangtok. Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Tsomgo Lake. Also known as Changu Lake, this glacial lake is a popular tourist attraction and is located on the road towards the Nathu ave Indian soldier, Harbhajan Singh, who died during the war near the Nathu La Pass. Return to Gangtok. The evening is free for shopping activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000 Ft.) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Mon, Tue) for Indian Nationals only at an additional cost.
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling 6, 710 ft. , On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early morning, leave to view the sunrise at Tiger Hill. This is a major attraction amongst the tourists. After breakfast, visit Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), and Tea garden in the undulating valleys to view the scenic landscape of tea plucking and processing.
Visit Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. Also, visit the Japanese Temple dedicated to Lord Buddha and constructed in 1972. Don't forget to visit the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center. Afternoon enjoys shopping on your own at the local market like Ghoom Monastery Market, Batasia Loop Market, and Chowk Bazaar. Enjoy an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Airport to connect the flight to the onward destination."
